摘要： Provided is an engine system capable of ensuring a sufficient boost pressure during engine braking and improving a braking force of a compression release brake. The engine system includes: a compression release brake device (19) that operates a compression release brake to obtain a braking force during engine braking by forcibly opening an exhaust valve (24)and releasing a compressive pressure near a compression top dead center of an engine (E); a power-assisted turbocharger (2) including a turbine (3) disposed on an exhaust passage (6) of the engine (E) and driven by exhaust, a compressor (4) disposed on an intake passage (7) and driven by a rotational torque of the turbine (3), and an electric motor (5) that assists a drive force of the compressor (4); and an electric motor control unit (22) that drives the electric motor (5) when the compressor release brake is operated.

摘要： Provided is a turbocharger system capable of ensuring a sufficient EGR amount in all operating conditions, and reducing NOx emission from an engine. A turbocharger system for an engine includes an EGR controller that recirculates a part of exhaust gas discharged from an engine to an intake side, and a turbocharger. In the turbocharger system, the turbocharger is provided with a power-assisted turbocharger including an electric motor (2c) that assists a drive force of a compressor (2b). The EGR controller controls an amount of exhaust gas recirculated to the intake side so as to inhibit the generation of NOx regardless of an amount of oxygen necessary for combustion of the engine. An electric motor control unit (23) is provided to drive the electric motor (2c), by the control of the EGR controller, when the amount of oxygen necessary for the combustion of the engine is deficient.

摘要： The purpose is to ensure compatibility between the cooling balance and the oil cooling performance of both banks (2, 3) and to eliminate the difference in temperature between the banks. A V-engine cooling device passes cooling water discharged from a water pump (10) through an oil cooler (15) and then distributes it to both banks (2, 3) of the engine (1). The cooling water, before being used for cooling the engine, can sufficiently cool the oil, and the cooling water, after passing through an oil cooler (15), is fed evenly to both banks (2, 3), whereby the difference in temperature between the banks can be eliminated. A housing member (20) attached to the end, in the crank shaft direction, of the engine (1) is integrally provided with a connection pipe (18) establishing communication between the water jackets of both banks (2, 3). Since the existing fly wheel housing (20), etc. are utilized, independent piping becomes unnecessary, thus realizing layout improvement, size reduction, etc.
