    • In an oil pressure generating device (200) of a crosshead engine, the plunger tail is located on the outer part of the main member, and the plunger head faces a pressure-boost chamber (216) inside the main member (202). The oil pressure generating device (200) has: plungers (210a, 210b) that slide in a direction intersecting the stroke direction of a piston; first pressing parts (236, 240) that are disposed apart from the main member in the sliding direction of the plungers, wherein the distance of separation from the main member is a first distance (La), and the pushing amount of the plungers into the pressure-boost chamber side is a first pushing amount; and second pressing parts (238), wherein the distance of separation from the main member is a second distance (Lb), and the pushing amount of the plungers into the pressure-boost chamber side is a second pushing amount that is greater than the first pushing amount. The oil pressure generating device (200) is provided with plunger pressing members (204a, 204b) that push the plungers to the pressure-boost chamber side while the plungers move from the first pressing parts to the second pressing parts.

    • A uniflow-scavenged two-cycle engine (100) includes: a cylinder (110) in which a combustion chamber (124) is formed; a piston (112); a scavenging chamber (122) that surrounds one end side of the cylinder in the stroke direction of the piston and to which compressed active gas is guided; a scavenging port (118) that is provided in a portion of the cylinder which is positioned in the scavenging chamber and suctions active gas from the scavenging chamber to the combustion chamber in response to a sliding motion of the piston; a fuel injection opening (126) that is provided on an outer side of the cylinder in a radial direction thereof from the scavenging port and injects fuel gas into the active gas which is suctioned into the scavenging port; and a fuel injecting valve (128) that opens and closes a fuel supply path (144) through which a fuel tank (140), in which the fuel gas is stored, communicates with the fuel injection opening. In addition, the fuel injecting valve is disposed in an isolated space (146) isolated from the scavenging chamber.
