    • Embodiments of the present invention provide a positioning method, a positioning server, and a positioning system, to eliminate a positioning error brought by a TAE, improve positioning precision, and accurately position multiple mobile terminals at a time. The positioning method includes: separately obtaining, by a positioning server, location coordinates of M positioning nodes; separately obtaining, by the positioning server, a reference signal time difference RSTD between an i th positioning node and an (i+1) th positioning node in the M positioning nodes and a j th mobile terminal in two mobile terminals; determining, by the positioning server, a relative RSTD according to the RSTD; and determining, by the positioning server, location coordinates of the two mobile terminals according to the relative RSTD and the location coordinates of the M positioning nodes. The present invention is applicable to the field of wireless communications technologies.

    • The embodiments of this invention disclose a radio access gateway, radio access point, radio access network and method of radio access. An MS may connect to a Packet Switch network through the radio access point to perform Packet Switch service transmission. The radio access gateway manages the radio access point and controls data transmission. The radio access network may be combined with an existing mobile communication network. The MS may directly interact with the Packet Switch network through the radio access point when transmitting a Packet Switch service; and may transmit data through the circuit domain in the mobile communication network when transmitting a circuit domain service, e.g. a voice service. In the embodiments of this invention, the access processing of the PS network is simplified, and thus the processing delay of networks is reduced and forwarding performance is improved.

The method includes: acquiring scheduling information of first user equipment in a first cell; acquiring scheduling information of second user equipment in a second cell; acquiring a SINR predictor of the first user equipment according to the scheduling information of the first user equipment in the first cell and the scheduling information of the second user equipment in the second cell; obtaining a SINR adjustment value of the first user equipment according to the SINR predictor and a SINR adjustment amount; and determining, according to a correspondence between a SINR and a modulation and coding scheme MCS, an MCS corresponding to the SINR adjustment value of the first user equipment. The adaptive modulation and coding method and the apparatus that are provided in the embodiments of the present invention are used for adaptive modulation and coding.

    • The present invention provides a method for determining a neighboring base station, a base station, and a processing network element. The method for determining a neighboring base station includes: receiving, by a base station, a measurement report, sent by a terminal, of another base station adjacent to the base station; sending, by the base station, the measurement report of said another base station adjacent to the base station to a processing network element; and determining, by the processing network element, a neighboring base station of the base station according to the measurement report. The technical solution provided in the present invention can be used to determine a neighboring base station of a base station, which avoids a problem in the prior art that an error is likely to occur in manually determining a neighboring base station of a base station, thereby improving accuracy of determining a neighbor relationship between base stations.
