    • The present disclosure relates to a network performance improvement method and an apparatus for user equipment. In the network performance improvement method, user equipment establishes a first PDN connection, and transmits data of a first application program through the first PDN connection. Then, the user equipment starts a second application program, and determines whether a current network status satisfies a quality of service requirement of the second application program. When determining that the current network status does not satisfy the quality of service requirement of the second application program, the user equipment starts to establish a second PDN connection, and transmits, after the second PDN connection is successfully established, at least a part of application data of the second application program through the second PDN connection. According to the solutions provided in this application, a new PDN connection can be flexibly and dynamically established based on an application service requirement of user equipment and a network status, and application data is transmitted through the new PDN connection, improving network performance of the user equipment application.

    • Embodiments of the present invention disclose a terminal and a communication method thereof. The terminal includes: a first baseband processor, a second baseband processor, a first radio frequency chip, a second radio frequency chip, a first antenna, a second antenna, a third antenna, and a fourth antenna. The first baseband processor, the second baseband processor, the first radio frequency chip, and the second radio frequency chip all support an access capability of a third-generation or later-generation mobile communications technology. The first baseband processor is connected to the first antenna and the second antenna by using the first radio frequency chip. The first radio frequency chip is connected to the first antenna to form a first channel, and the first radio frequency chip is connected to the second antenna to form a second channel. The second baseband processor is connected to the third antenna and the fourth antenna by using the second radio frequency chip. The second radio frequency chip is connected to the third antenna to form a third channel, and the second radio frequency chip is connected to the fourth antenna to form a fourth channel. The terminal can simultaneously support 3G or later-generation services of multiple SIM cards.

    • The present invention provides a data transmission method and a terminal. The method includes: respectively allocating, by a terminal, a first download range and a second download range to a first network interface card and a second network interface card according to an obtained download range of to-be-downloaded data; and if the terminal determines that when a preset download time arrives, the first network interface card completes downloading of the first download range and the second network interface card does not complete downloading of the second download range, performing, by the terminal, a first allocation operation at least once. This reduces download duration of to-be-downloaded data.
