The second fixed bracket is fastened to the second housing, a sliding end of the second transmission arm is slidably connected to the second fixed bracket, a rotating end of the second transmission arm is rotatably connected to the main shaft assembly, one end of the second rotating arm is rotatably connected to the second fixed bracket, and the other end of the second rotating arm is rotatably connected to the main shaft assembly. According to this application, when the folding apparatus is folded or unfolded, a risk that a flexible display of the electronic device is stretched or squeezed is low, so that reliability of the flexible display is high.

According to the foldable electronic device provided in this application, in a process of folding the foldable screen of the electronic device, the traction mechanisms disposed on the housings proactively drag the innermost layer of the foldable screen to slide along a folding direction. This assists the foldable screen in dislocation of the layers of the screen in the folding process, so that arching and other problems of the screen are avoided.
