The method includes: mapping, to M evenly spaced subcarriers, each of a first sequence including M elements and a second sequence including M elements, where the M subcarriers are subcarriers on a same time domain symbol, the first sequence and the second sequence are code division-orthogonal, the first sequence a 0 , a 1 ,..., a M -1 is obtained by extending a third sequence c 0 , c 1 ,... ,c K -1 having a length of K, and the second sequence b 0 , b 1 ,..., b M -1 is obtained by extending a fourth sequence d 0 , d 1 ,..., d K -1 having a length of K , where M = p × K , i is a variable, a value of i is 0,1,..., M - 1 , u and v each are one of 0,1,... , p - 1 , and v is not equal to u ; generating a to-be-sent signal based on elements on the M subcarriers; and sending the to-be-sent signal. According to the signal transmission method in this application, two sequences that are code division-orthogonal are constructed through periodic repetition and phase rotation, to ensure a relatively low PAPR in signal transmission when at least two signals are transmitted on one time domain symbol.

    • A method for releasing resources includes: obtaining trigger information; determining to release an allocated high-speed random access channel (HS-RACH) resource according to the obtained trigger information; and releasing the allocated HS-RACH resource at the local end. Communication equipment includes: an information obtaining unit, adapted to obtain the information related to the resource release; a resource releasing unit, adapted to determine to release the allocated HS-RACH resource according to the information obtained by the information obtaining unit, and release the allocated HS-RACH resource at the local end. A network system is also provided. The technical solution of the present invention solves the HS-RACH resource release problem.

    • Embodiments of the present invention provide an information configuration method, a data receiving method, and a device, where the information configuration method includes: configuring, by a first network device, a first resource set group of a physical downlink control channel set for user equipment, and configuring, for the user equipment, a second resource set group of a physical downlink control channel for retransmission, where the physical downlink control channel for retransmission is a physical downlink control channel for retransmission corresponding to downlink data indicated by a physical downlink control channel in at least one subset of the physical downlink control channel set; and sending, by the first network device, information about the first resource set group and information about the second resource set group to the user equipment. The embodiments of the present invention implement that a coordination gain can still be obtained without quick information exchange.
