    • The present invention provides two user line testing systems, three wideband and narrowband communication systems and a wideband line card. The user line testing systems of the present invention mount a test module in the central office wideband apparatus, so as to reduce the complexity and cost of the user line testing systems. The present invention provides a wideband line card by mounting the catching line relay on it, and designs the LPF card to the passive device to reduce the corresponding cost and reduce the complexity and its user’s cost of central office wideband apparatus with the card. Also, by using the user line testing systems and the wideband line card in three wideband and narrowband communication systems provided by the present invention, it reduces the complexity of the wideband and narrowband communication systems and its user’s cost. The third wideband and narrowband communication system of the present invention comprises the wideband line card without the catching line relay, and the wideband line card with the catching line relay, so it has preferable compatibility.

    • A clock synchronization method, customer premises equipment and a clock synchronization system are provided. The clock synchronization method includes: reading, by customer premises equipment, a first time stamp when receiving a first specific position of a first DMT signal sent by central office equipment; reading a second time stamp when sending a second specific position of a second DMT signal; receiving a third time stamp and a fourth time stamp that are sent by the central office equipment through a data information channel, wherein the third time stamp is read when the central office equipment sends the first specific position of the first DMT signal, and the fourth time stamp is read when the central office equipment receives the second specific position of the second DMT signal; and adjusting a clock of the customer premises equipment according to the first time stamp, the second time stamp, the third time stamp and the fourth time stamp, so that the clock of the customer premises equipment is synchronized with a clock of the central office equipment. The method, the equipment and the system improve precision of clock synchronization and meet a high-precision requirement of an XDSL system on the clock synchronization.

    • A clock synchronization method, apparatus, and system are provided according to the embodiments of the present invention. The method includes: receiving time information TM1 transmitted by a central office side, in which the time information TM1 is obtained by the central office side by reading a local clock of the central office side when transmission data at a first designated location starts to be transferred, and the local clock of the central office side is synchronous with the Global Positioning System GPS or the Building Integrated Timing Supply BITS; judging whether transmission data at a second designated location starts to be received, if yes, reading a local clock of the Customer Premise Equipment side to obtain time information TS1; and synchronizing clock frequencies of the central office side and the Customer Premise Equipment side according to the time information TM1 and the time information TS1. Therefore, a network reference clock is not used as a working clock to perform the clock synchronization of a DSL system, and therefore the reliability of a DSL link may be independent from the reliability of the network reference clock.
