摘要： An apparatus for generating time-domain audio samples or synthesis filterbank (300) comprises a calculator (310) for calculating a frame (330) comprising a sequence of intermediate time-domain samples from audio subband values of block (320). The calculator (310) is coupled to a synthesis windower (360) to which the frame (330) of intermediate time-domain samples is provided. The synthesis windower (360) is adapted to windowing the sequence of intermediate time-domain samples using a synthesis window function (370) and provides a frame (380) of windowed intermediate time-domain samples. The synthesis windower (360) is coupled to an overlap-adder output stage (400) that obtains a block (410) of time-domain samples. The block (410) of the time-domain (output) samples can then for instance be provided to further components for further processing, storing or transforming into audible audio signals.

摘要： An audio or video encoder and an audio or video decoder are based on a combination of two audio or video channels (201, 202) to obtain a first combination signal (204) as a mid signal and a residual signal (205) which can be derived using a predicted side signal derived from the mid signal. The first combination signal and the prediction residual signal are encoded (209) and written (212) into a data stream (213) together with the prediction information (206) derived by an optimizer (207) based on an optimization target (208) and a prediction direction indicator indicating a prediction direction associated with the residual signal. A decoder uses the prediction residual signal, the first combination signal, the prediction direction indicator and the prediction information to derive a decoded first channel signal and a decoded second channel signal. In an encoder example or in a decoder example, a real-to-imaginary transform can be applied for estimating the imaginary part of the spectrum of the first combination signal. For calculating the prediction signal used in the derivation of the prediction residual signal, the real-valued first combination signal is multiplied by a real portion of the complex prediction information and the estimated imaginary part of the first combination signal is multiplied by an imaginary portion of the complex prediction information.

The audio processor comprises a cascaded lapped critically sampled transform stage and a time domain aliasing reduction stage. The cascaded lapped critically sampled transform stage is configured to perform a cascaded lapped critically sampled transform on at least two partially overlapping blocks of samples of the audio signal, to obtain a set of subband samples on the basis of a first block of samples of the audio signal, and to obtain a corresponding set of subband samples on the basis of a second block of samples of the audio signal. The time domain aliasing reduction stage is configured to perform a weighted combination of two corresponding sets of subband samples, one obtained on the basis of the first block of samples of the audio signal and one obtained on the basis on the second block of samples of the audio signal, to obtain an aliasing reduced subband representation of the audio signal.

摘要： An embodiment of an apparatus (100) for generating audio subband values in audio subband channels comprises an analysis windower (110) for windowing a frame (120) of time-domain audio input samples being in a time sequence extending from an early sample to a later sample using an analysis window function (190) comprising a sequence of window coefficients to obtain windowed samples. The analysis window function (190) comprises a first group (200) of window coefficients and a second group (210) of window coefficients. The first group (200) of window coefficients is used for windowing later time-domain samples and the second group (210) of window coefficients is used for windowing an earlier time-domain samples. The apparatus (100) further comprises a calculator (170) for calculating the audio subband values using the windowed samples.
