    • The invention provides an injection molding machine injection unit that eliminates adverse effects on the load cell (3) of belt tension due to belt drive. A load cell (3) that detects resin pressure is mounted on a pusher plate (1) and a rotation-transmitting member (4), on which an injection screw (17) is fixedly mounted, is axially supported by an inner annular part (3b) of the load cell. The shaft (7) of a pulley (9) is axially supported on the pusher plate (1) and coupled by splines to the rotation-transmitting member (4). A screw rotation motor (12) is mounted on motor mounts (2a) of a housing (2) mounted on the rear surface of the pusher plate (1). Tension on a belt run between the pulley (9) and a pulley (11) mounted on the motor output shaft concentrates a force at the base of the motor mounts (2a). However, the housing (2) is separate from the pusher plate (1) and fixedly mounted on the pusher plate (1) at a location other than that occupied by the base of the motor mounts (2a). Therefore, the belt tension does not adversely affect the load cell (3), thus enabling high-accuracy resin pressure detection.
