摘要： The method and installation are capable of obtaining a cement powder having fiber concentrations in accordance with the above-cited requirements, i.e. below 2wt%. The method comprises providing millimetre-sized granules originating from waste fiber cement material. The granules are supplied to a roller/classifier mill (10) comprising a rotating horizontal grinding track (13) and one or more rollers (12) configured to rotate about stationary rotation axes so that the granules are ground between the grinding track (13) and a lateral surface of the rotors (12). The roller/classifier mill further comprises an air classifier (14) arranged above the one or more rotors.
In the roller/classifier mill (10), the granules are reduced to micrometre-sized particles which are small enough to separate from the fibers. Said smaller-sized particles together with the cement-free fibers are separated from heavier particles in the air classifier (14) and removed from the mill by an upward air flow through an outlet (16). Following this, the smaller-sized particles are separated from the majority of the cement-free fibers in a sieve (20), and obtained as the end product, which is a cementitious powder with very low fiber concentration.
