    • The invention relates to a method for producing tubes that are at least partially profiled on their interior and preferably on their exterior from a hollow cylindrical blank (3), using a mechanical cold forming method. According to said method, the end of the blank (3) that is not to be machined (3') is fed to a clamping device (10). The blank (3) is then secured in the clamping device (10) and a mandrel (2) is subsequently inserted into the end of region (3') of the blank (3) that is to be machined. A lance (8) is guided in said mandrel so that it can be coaxially displaced in a longitudinal direction and the free end of said lance (8') can be introduced into the clamping device (10). The tip (8') of the lance (8) is then brought into a positive fit with the clamping device (10) in the axial direction of the blank (3) and the mandrel (2), together with the clamping device (10) and the blank (3) is guided axially through a fixed machining point (6). Radial exterior machining of the surface of the blank (3) along the section that is to be machined (3'') takes place at said machining point (6), to create the interior and exterior profiling of the blank (3). During said process, the mandrel (2) is preferably rotated about its axis in an intermittent manner. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out said method.

    • The invention relates to a punching and/or stamping device comprising a preferably axially displaceable drive shaft (1) for a workpiece holder (3) which grips the workpiece (2) to be machined. Said device also comprises a hydraulic cylinder (7) which actuates the die (5), displacing it towards a die plate (6) at an adjusted or adjustable angle ? in relation to the drive shaft (1) or the workpiece axis. The cylinder (7) is hydraulically actuated by means of a piston pump (8) which is connected to another drive shaft (10) by means of a connecting rod (9). The two drive shafts (1,10) are preferably respectively connected to an independent drive and are coupled together in a synchronised manner by numeric control. Preferably, the die plate (6) moves back or forth in relation to the workpiece holder (3) in a linearly guided carriage (11), the carriage being preferably connected to the drive shaft (10) of the piston pump (8) by means of cam actuation.
