    • A spray nozzle device, a spray boom and an operating method for a spray nozzle device is disclosed. The spray nozzle device comprises a single nozzle (100, 200) having a fluid inlet (20, 206), at least one fluid outlet (40, 120A, 120B, 120C, 120D, 122) and multiple valves (30, 32, 34, 104A, 104B) that couple the fluid inlet (20, 206) to the at least one fluid outlet (40, 120A, 120B, 120C, 120D, 122) based on an open or closed position of at least one of the multiple valves (30, 32, 34, 104A, 104B), electronic traces that receive modulated duration signals (3, 5, 7), wherein a first electronic trace contacts a first of the multiple valves (30, 32, 34, 104A, 104B) to control its open or closed position, and a second electronic trace contacts a second of the multiple valves (30, 32, 34, 104A, 104B) to control its open or closed position; and the first of the multiple valves (30, 32, 34, 104A, 104B) is configured to move to a first open position in a different phase relationship with respect to a second open position of the second of the multiple valves (30, 32, 34, 104A, 104B), wherein the first open position and second open position are based on a duration and a polarity of the modulated duration signals (3, 5, 7) on the first electronic trace and on the second electronic trace, respectively. Furthermore, a spray boom is equipped with such a spray nozzle device and a method is defined for operating the above mentioned spray nozzle device.

The sprayer nozzle apparatus (10) includes an apparatus housing (15). A control element (20) is rotatably coupled to the apparatus housing (15).     • A fluid coupler arrangement (60) is described. The fluid coupler (60) is used for connecting a nurse vehicle (40) fluid transfer conduit (52) to a sprayer vehicle (10) intake fluid conduit (24) so as to form a continuous flow path through the coupler (60). Said coupler (60) arrangement comprising: a first coupler section (64) including an insert body (110) defining a first flow passageway (112) there through and a second coupler section (62) including a receptacle body (66) defining a second flow passageway (68) there through and defining a receptacle (62) for receiving an end region of said insert body (110). To facilitate and improve the coupling process and to avoid leakage it is proposed that said first coupler section (64) comprising first and second poppet valves (140, 90) including a valve seats (160, 106) formed at one end of the first and second flow passageways (112, 68). First and second valve heads (152, 94) having periphery biased into sealing (158, 100) engagements with respective valve seats (160, 106); said receptacle (62) having an interior wall surface (84) joined to an annular end wall surface (86); said end region of said insert body (110) defining a seal groove (130) bridged by said interior wall surface (84) when said end region is located within said receptacle (62); and an inflatable seal (132) being located in said seal groove (130) and acting, when inflated, for locking said receptacle body (66) and said insert body (110) together while preventing leakage. Furthermore a combination of a fluid coupler arrangement (60) with a control arrangement and a combination of a variable displacement pump (26) with a control system for said pump (26) is described.
