摘要： The present invention is a dispersible silicone composition comprising (I) a silicone composition prepared by reacting (i) a polyorganosiloxane, (ii) a silicon compound, optionally (iii) a filler and (iv) a catalytic amount of a compound for promoting the reaction of the other components and (II) mineral oil. The mineral oil is effective as a dispersing agent for the silicone composition (I). The product mineral oil-containing compositions are easier to handle, produce less waste and more efficiently disperse into mineral oil based formulations.

摘要： The present specification discloses a dispersible silicone composition comprising a blend of (I) a silicone composition prepared by reacting (i) a polyorganosiloxane, (ii) a silicon compound and (iii) a catalytic amount of a compound for promoting the reaction of the other components and (II) a polyisobutylene compound. The polyisobutylene oligomer or polyisobutylene polymer is effective as a dispersing agent for the silicone composition (I). The polyisobutylene-containing compositions are easier to handle, produce less waste and their dispersion into mineral oil formulations is far more efficient.

摘要： Organosilicone materials that are "density-matched" to hydrocarbon media also act as defoamers in hydrocarbon fuel, such as diesel fuel. Specifically, our defoamers are described as cross-linked organopolysiloxane-polyoxyalkylenes. They are characteristized by being slightly soluble or insoluble in water and hydrocarbon fuels. By changing the solvent and the method of dispersion, different particle size distributions are obtained.
