摘要： The present invention provides a method for producing a block copolymer, which includes subjecting styrene or a derivative thereof (excluding ±-methylstyrene) to living anionic polymerization in the presence of a polymerization initiator by means of a microreactor having a channel being capable of mixing a plurality of liquids with each other, reacting a propagation end of the resultant polymer block (A) derived from styrene or a derivative thereof with ±-methylstyrene to obtain an intermediate polymer having a polymer unit (B) derived from ±-methylstyrene bonded to one end of the polymer block (A), and then subjecting a (meth)acrylate compound (c) to living anionic polymerization in the presence of a polymerization initiator so that the polymer unit (B) derived from ±-methylstyrene in the intermediate polymer serves as a propagation end to form a polymer block (C) derived from the (meth)acrylate compound (c).

摘要： There is provided a pigment dispersant that is a block polymer P in which a hydrophobic polymer block A and a hydrophilic polymer block B containing an anionic group are linked to each other, wherein the block polymer P has a number average molecular weight ranging from 1000 to 4000; and in the case where the block polymer P is subjected to 100% neutralization of the anionic group with a basic compound and dispersed in water and where the fine particles of the dispersed block polymer P are subjected to measurement of a scattering profile by small- or ultra-small-angle X-ray scattering that involves use of synchrotron radiation, at least one minimum value in the scattering profile is present within the range of a scattering vector q from 0.1 to 1 nm -1 . There is also provided an aqueous pigment dispersion containing such a pigment dispersant, a pigment, a basic compound, and an aqueous medium.

摘要： A water-based ink for inkjet recording contains a pigment, water, organic solvents, at least one compound selected from urea compounds, and a binder resin. The organic solvents include at least (1) a water-soluble organic solvent having a boiling point of from 100°C to 200°C inclusive and a vapor pressure at 20°C of 0.5 hPa or more, (2) propylene glycol, and (3) glycerin, diglycerin, and/or a derivative thereof serving as an organic solvent. Preferably, the water-based ink further contains a polymer (A) serving as a pigment dispersant. The polymer (A) has an anionic group and has a solubility in water of 0.1 g/100 mL or more, a number average molecular weight within the range of 1,000 to 6,000, and an acid value within the range of 40 to 190 mg KOH/g.
