    • According to the present invention a developer supply container (1) is shown which is detachably mountable to a developer receiving apparatus (10) including a driving gear (12), wherein said container (1) mounted to the apparatus (10) is settable to a set position by a rotating operation of said container (1) in a setting direction (B) by an operator, said container (1) comprising: a cylindrical portion (1a) for containing a developer; a developer discharging opening (1b), provided on a peripheral surface of said cylindrical portion (1a), for permitting discharge of the developer in said cylindrical portion (1a); a developer feeding member (4) for feeding the developer in said cylindrical portion (1a) toward said developer discharging opening (1b); a drive receiving member (6), provided on an axial end of said cylindrical portion (1a), for engagement with the driving gear (12) to receive a rotational force for rotating said developer feeding member (4) relative to said cylindrical portion (1a); and a regulating portion (1g; 100) for regulating a mounting attitude of said cylindrical portion (1a) to the apparatus (10) so as to prevent engagement between said drive receiving member (6) and the driving gear (12); wherein said drive receiving member (6) is so disposed that by the rotating operation of said cylindrical portion (1a) toward the set position about a center of said cylindrical portion (1a) in the setting direction (B), it is brought into engagement with the driving gear (12).

    • A toner supply container (1) detachably mountable to an image forming apparatus (100) comprises a container main body (1A) having an inner space adapted to contain toner, and a coupling engagement portion (2c) adapted to engage with a cylindrical portion (20) provided in the image forming apparatus (100).
