    • Bottom tray assembly (13) for a fiber optic distribution device, comprising a first, lower bottom tray (14) for guiding fiber optic cables and a second, upper bottom tray (15) for guiding fiber optic cables. The first bottom tray (14) and the second bottom tray (15) are both mountable to a housing of the fiber optic distribution device in such a way that the relative position between the first bottom tray (14) and the second bottom tray (15) is fixed. The first bottom tray (14) comprises a horizontally oriented bottom wall (16) and at least two vertically oriented walls (17, 18, 19) running parallel or almost parallel to each other, wherein a first vertically oriented wall (17) of said vertically oriented walls provides a front wall of the first bottom tray (14), wherein the first vertically oriented wall (17) of said vertically oriented walls and the bottom wall (16) define together an interior space (20) of the first bottom tray (14) for the handling of fiber optic cables; wherein a second vertically oriented wall (18) of said vertically oriented walls divides said interior space (20) into a first subspace (20a) being positioned behind the first vertically oriented wall (17) and in front of the second vertically oriented wall (18), and a second subspace (20b) being positioned behind the second vertically oriented wall (18) and below the second, upper bottom tray (15).

    • A fiber optic distribution device (20), comprising: a housing (21) defining an interior space (22) of the fiber optic distribution device (20), wherein at least one fiber optic cable (27) can be inserted from an exterior into the interior space (22) of the housing (21) and passed out from the interior space (22) of the housing (21) in the exterior; and at least one modular fiber optic management unit (30) mounted in the housing (21), wherein the or each modular fiber optic management unit (30) comprises several modules stacked above each other, namely at least a cable entry module for inserting at least one incoming fiber optic cable from the interior space (22) of the housing (21) into the respective fiber optic management unit (30) and for passing out least one outgoing fiber optic cable from the respective fiber optic management unit (30) in the interior space (22) of the housing (21), and at least one splice module comprising several splice trays for handling splice connections between fibers of the or each incoming fiber optic cable and fibers of fiber optic pigtails or fibers of the or each outgoing fiber optic cable; wherein the or each fiber optic management unit (30) is mounted in the housing (21) through mounting rails (31) in such a way that the respective fiber optic management unit (30) having a first orientation in an upright position of the same can be horizontally pulled out from the interior space (22) of the housing (21) or horizontally pushed into the interior space (22) of the housing (21) in said first orientation, the respective fiber optic management unit (30) being pulled out from the interior space (22) of the housing (21) can be pivoted around a vertical rotation axis (36) from said first orientation into a second orientation and vice versa from said second orientation into the first orientation while maintaining the upright position of the same.
