    • A system for controlling a power-converter device (1) is provided with: a power-factor-correction stage (4), which has an input (IN1, IN2) receiving a supply voltage (V al ) and an output (5) connected to a storage capacitor (6), and supplies a stabilized voltage (V PFC ) to the storage capacitor as a function of the supply voltage; and a voltage-adapter stage (14), which has a respective input (5) connected to the storage capacitor (6) and a respective output (OUT) connected to a load (100), and supplies an output voltage (V out ) on the load starting from the stabilized voltage; the power-factor-correction stage (4) has a first switch (10) for transferring a first electric power from the input to the storage capacitor (6), and the voltage-adapter stage (14) has a second switch (16) for transferring a second electric power from the storage capacitor to the output. A control stage (12) controls the first switch (10) and second switch (16) in such a way that the second electric power has a trend substantially corresponding to the trend of the first electric power.
