    • The present invention relates to a flexible profile for covering apertures (5) of various dimensions e.g. apertures in a floor, said profile comprising a profile head (4) for covering the aperture (5), said profile head (4) being connected to a profile stem, (3) and wherein wings (2, 2', 2") extend from the profile stem. The profile comprises a bottom set of wings (2") connected to the end of the profile stem opposite the profile head (4), wherein said bottom set of wings (2") comprises segments extending in a direction being substantially perpendicular to the profile stem (3) and wherein each wing in said bottom set of wings (2") comprises at least two displaced segments.
      The displaced segments in each bottom wing being perpendicular to the profile stem ensure that the wings can bend during insertion, but when resting in the aperture it is impossible to bend the bottom wings in the opposite direction since each segment in the stair-shaped wing has to be bend.
