摘要： The invention relates to a self-drilling and tapping screw (100) for directly screwing together components (210, 220), with a head (110) and a shank formed on the head (110), wherein the shank has a self-tapping thread section (122) and a punch forming section (124) arranged ahead thereof for flow punch forming. According to the invention, the shank also has at least one cutting edge (126) with a chip removal function which is substantially arranged before the self-tapping thread section (122) and which, on the one hand, by rotation of the screw (100) allows the creation of a penetrating hole in at least one of the components (210), without, on the other hand, impairing flow punch forming in another component (220). The invention also relates to a component assembly (200) joined with at least one such self-drilling and tapping screw (100).

摘要： The invention relates to a self-tapping screw comprising a screw shaft (1) and a screw thread (3) as well as a grooved section (4) that proceeds from the front end (2) of the screw and extends across an axial length which approximately corresponds to the nominal dimensions of the screw. A support section of the thread is connected to this grooved section. In the preferably slightly cone-shaped grooved section, the grooves (6) formed between the windings of the thread by the thread flanks are initially designed flatter proceeding from the front screw end and they continually approach, in their form, the steeper cross-sectional shape of the grooves present in the support section. This gradual transition forms a counter thread from the screw, which allows greater loads. The invention likewise suggests a rolling die for producing such a screw, and a thread former.
