    • A touch sensor (01) and a display device (03). The touch sensor (01) comprises an open area (421), multiple first touch electrodes (11), multiple second touch electrodes (12), and an electrically-conductive structure (23). The first touch electrodes (11) comprise multiple first touch sub-electrodes (111). The second touch electrodes (12) comprise multiple second touch sub-electrodes (121). Each of a first group of second touch electrodes (12) among the multiple second touch electrodes (12) also comprises an adapter touch electrode (14). A virtual line (1451) running through the center of the open area (421) and extending in a first direction (D1) intersects two opposite edges of the adapter touch electrode (14) in the first direction (D1) respectively at a first position (1452) and a second position (1453); moreover, the distance between the first position (1452) and the second position (1453) is less than the maximum width of at least one among the multiple second touch sub-electrodes (121) in the first direction (D1). The electrically-conductive structure (23) is arranged on the surface of the adapter touch electrode (14), extends in a second direction (D2), and is parallel and electrically connected to the adapter touch electrode (14). The touch controller (O1) reduces the channel impedance of the area in which the adapter touch electrode (14) is located.
