摘要： For transporting cargo in a ship (2), a barge (6-16) carrying cargo is received in a cargo space (27), a transport bottom (44) of the cargo space being partially flooded and the barge (6-16) floating into the cargo space (27). The barge (6-16) passes into the cargo space (27) through an access door (49). The door is closed and water is discharged from the ship (2) until the barge (6-16) is carried by the transport bottom (44). The ship then sails to a destination, where the door (49) is opened, the transport bottom (44) is flooded again at least until the barge (6-16) floats; and the barge (6-16) is delivered from the cargo space (27) via the opening of the access door (49). A method for loading, a shipping system and a cargo transfer station specifically adapted for use in combination with that method are also described.

摘要： An apparatus for cleaning a wall (7) of a cargo hold (8) of a ship equipped with a cleaning element (2), a suspension (3, 10) for pivotably suspending the cleaning element (2) from a carrier (4); and an operating element (16 - 18) for moving the cleaning element (2) between an operative position and a position of rest. The cleaning element (2) is elongated and the suspension (3, 10) is carried out and coupled to the cleaning element (2)in a manner such that the cleaning element (2) in the operative position is oriented in a substantially vertical direction, and, in the position of rest, is oriented in a substantially horizontal direction. A portal crane and a ship equipped with such an apparatus are also described.
