    • A cabinet lock 1 comprising a housing 10, a shaft 20, at least one blocking member 30, and at least one rotary bearing 12, wherein the rotary bearing 12 rotatably supports the shaft 10 relative the housing 10 and defines a rotational axis 2 of the shaft allows to safely block a rotation of the shaft if the shaft 10 has an axially extending channel 22 being delimited by a channel surface 24, wherein a through hole 26 extends between a peripheral surface 28 of the shaft 20 and the channel surface 24 and if a pair azimuthal abutments 14, 16 is attached to the housing 10 and defines a recess 15 in between of the azimuthal abutments 14, 16, while the blocking member 30 is movably supported in the through hole 26, and movable between an extended position and a retracted position. In the extended position, a radially outward portion of the blocking member 30 extends radially outward out of the through hole 26 and into the recess 15 while another portion of the blocking member 30 is supported by the boundary of the through hole 26. In the retracted position, the blocking member 30 does not interfere with the pair of azimuthal abutments 14,16, while a radially inward portion of the blocking member 30 extends into the channel 22. A movement of the blocking members can be controlled by a movable slider 40, being accommodated in the housing, wherein the slider 40 has a blocking position and an unblocking position. In the blocking position, the slider 40 blocks a movement of the blocking member 30 out of the extended position into to the retracted position and in the unblocking position, the slider 40 clears a void 23 dimensioned to receive at least a radially inward facing portion of the blocking member 30 in the retracted position.

    • An adapter for converting a rotary motion of a drive shaft for a door lock actuating mechanism into a translational motion for actuating a door latch, the adapter comprising a housing with a compartment and a first lever inside the compartment, enables retrofitting of US-style doors with a European style door handle by providing a first bearing that rotatably supports the first lever relative to the housing, wherein the first bearing has a first axis of rotation, wherein the housing has a channel, the channel has a first opening facing the lever and a second opening facing away from the lever, wherein a first channel axis extends through the centers of the first and second openings. The first lever has a hole, configured for receiving the drive shaft, wherein the longitudinal axis of the drive shaft correlates with the first axis of rotation. The first lever further has first coupling means for providing a torque proof coupling with the drive shaft. A second bearing pivotably attaches the lever to a connecting rod, where-in the second bearing has a second axis of rotation, wherein the connecting rod has a first connecting element at the end of the connecting rod opposite to the lever. The first connecting element is moveably supported inside the first channel, wherein the channel walls limit a translation of the first connecting element in directions perpendicular to the first channel axis and enable a translation along the first channel axis.

    • A clutch actuator for a door lock comprises a first shaft with a longitudinal shaft axis and an azimuthal bearing surface, wherein the azimuthal bearing surface provides a first block against a rotation in a first direction, the first direction is an azimuthal direction and the first block extends in at least one second direction, the first and the second direction are linearly independent. The clutch actuator further comprises a coupling member, being movably supported relative to the shaft by the bearing surface between an open position and a closed position, wherein the coupling member has at least a first spring block and a second spring block and wherein the first spring block and the second spring blocks face in mutually opposite directions, said mutual opposite directions being parallel to a third direction. A helical spring is movably supported relative to the first shaft to enable a movement parallel to the third direction, wherein the movement parallel to the third direction is limited in the third direction by the first spring block and in the opposite direction by the second spring block and wherein the helical spring has multiple windings. A spindle is torque proof connected to a motor shaft and rotatably supported relative to the first shaft, wherein a protrusion of the spindle engages in a void between two adjacent windings of the helical spring. Safety provided by the clutch actuator against manipulation is enhanced if the coupling member has a first interlocking protrusion extending towards the spindle and if the spindle has a second interlocking protrusion extending towards the coupling member, wherein in the open position of the coupling member the second interlocking protrusion intersects the path of the first interlocking member form the open position to the closed position.
