摘要： In some embodiments, a negative pressure wound therapy system can detect and classify one or more operational conditions, including detection of a wound bleeding. The system can react to detection of blood by providing an indication, reducing the intensity or stopping therapy, releasing negative pressure, etc. In certain embodiments, the system can detect one or more additional operational conditions, such as change in vacuum pressure, gas leak rate change, exudate flow rate change, water flow rate change, presence of exudate, presence of water, etc. The system can detect and distinguish between different operational conditions and provide indication or take remedial action.

摘要： A collinear reduction clamp including a compression rod, an arm, and an advancing mechanism for moving the compression rod relative to the arm. In some examples, the rod may include a cannulated bore to enable a bone screw to be inserted therein. The rod may also include a cap. The cap including a bone screw washer. In use, a bone screw can be inserted through the cannulated bore of the rod, the bone screw passing through the washer thereby coupling the washer to the bone screw thereby enabling both the bone screw and the washer to be inserted into the patient's bone directly at the compression site. In some examples, the cannulated bore may be used in combination with first and second tubes and a guidewire to enable a cannulated bone screw to be inserted therein. In some examples, the arm may be configured as a length adjusting arm.

摘要： A bone plate fixation system for fixation of the distal radius bone includes a bone plate having an elongate shaft portion and a triangular-shaped head portion, with each portion defining a number of bone screw openings extending therethrough for receipt of bone screws. The triangular-shaped head portion may define an elongate visualization window having a window length extending across a width of the bone plate. At least some of the openings include flexible fins protruding radially inward into the opening and deflectable by the head of a bone screw to retain the bone screw in position within the opening. In one embodiment, the bone plate has an outer perimeter that is substantially symmetrical relative to a longitudinal axis of the bone plate. In another embodiment, the elongate shaft portion includes an elongate slot having a length extending along the longitudinal axis. In a further embodiment, the triangular-shaped head portion includes an elongate aperture having a length extending along the longitudinal axis.
