    • A device for trapping subsea fresh water resurgences with a view of recovering fresh water from sources, in particular the sources of karst networks, placed under the sea surface consist of an arrangement comprising: a sealed wall (1) which insulates resurgences (2), is anchored to the sea bottom (5) and is lifted to the surface (3) in such a way that it makes it possible to permanently venting the top part of the trapping device and is provided with flaps (6) arranged in the lower part thereof for discharging salt water (7), wherein the soft water (8) recovery is carried out by means of pumps (10) mounted on a device (11) floating on the soft water surface, a system, which controls the real time source flowrate, consists of one or several current meters located at the output of pipes and transmits directly to a control station the output current speed, and a weir (round or arc-shaped pool) which must have a total internal volume (capacity) definitely obeying a formula V = Qh/2 or V > Qh/2, wherein V is the pool total volume and Qh is a per-hour average flowrate of the sources. The weir (round or arc-shaped pool) must be provided with an automatic control and alarm system for switching-on and off the system operation when the total current flow rate of the sources trapped by the weir exceeds a predetermined value.
