摘要： A splitable trailer coupler for coupling a trailer to a towing vehicle, the splitable trailer coupler comprising a coupler bar (2) comprising means (201) for attachment to a towing vehicle, a housing (3) for attachment to a trailer, wherein at least a portion of the coupler bar is removably receivable into the housing, and means for retaining the at least a portion of the coupler bar in the housing, wherein the trailer coupler is adapted to permit translational movement of the at least a portion of the coupler bar along the longitudinal axis of the housing when the at least a portion of the coupler bar is retained within the housing.
