摘要： An arrangement in connection with a low pressure suction apparatus (2, 8, 9) for mobilizing skin tissue comprises a low pressure chamber (6), a suction equipment (5), comprising for example a pump or a fan, for producing low pressure in the low pressure chamber (6), and a suction head (2) in connection with the suction apparatus (2, 8, 9), the suction head (2) comprising a suction cup (3), one end of which is arranged to be in functional connection with the low pressure chamber (6) and the other is arranged to be pressed against skin tissue, said other end of the suction cup forming a suction opening (7) having a suction opening surface, and the direction parallel to the surface normal (D) of the suction opening surface forming an angle (α) deviating from zero degrees relative to the direction parallel to the surface normal (C) of said one end of the suction cup. An extension handle (60) for a suction apparatus is disclosed.

摘要： Method for assessing and preferably ameliorating the symptoms of a medical condition, optionally lymphedema, comprising obtaining a preferably both electrically powered and portable treatment apparatus capable of contacting, via a treatment head (2), a target area on the skin of a patient and introducing low-pressure suction thereto, wherein the apparatus, preferably the treatment head (2) thereof, contains at least one sensor element (11) to measure at least one physiological characteristic regarding the tissue underlying the target area of the patient, preferably indicative of fluid content thereof, and applying the treatment apparatus to the patient to measure said at least one physiological characteristic. A treatment apparatus for executing the method is presented.

摘要： The object of the invention is an adjustable massage apparatus, the massage effect of which is based on the suction effect created in association with the treatment head, the treatment head of the apparatus comprising a surface which comes in contact with the skin, a frame, and in connection with this surface a low-pressure chamber and a low- pressure hose in connection with the low-pressure chamber for created low-pressure suction in order to lift the skin tissue. The apparatus is mainly characterized in that a valve is arranged in connection with the low-pressure hose for adjusting the low-pressure suction created in the low-pressure chamber so that the pressure in the low-pressure chamber is oscillating between an upper limit and a lower limit.
