    • A combination valve (1) for a water heater or plumbing and heating installation for a dwelling, which combination valve (1) includes a valve housing (4), a stopcock (2) with a stopcock spindle (7), a non-return valve (3) with a non-return valve piston (8), an inlet (5) and an outlet (6), which stopcock spindle (7) and which non-return valve piston (8) are centrically arranged along a common longitudinal axis of the valve (1), wherein the non-return valve piston (8) with a gasket (16) attached thereto is spring-actuated (22) for sealing contact with a first seat (19) in the valve housing (4) and the stopcock spindle (7) is threadedly received through an opening in the valve housing (4) or a part (9) attached thereto for sealing contact between the gasket (16) attached to the non-return valve piston (8) and a second seat (24) in the valve housing (4), and which first and second seats (19, 24) define a passage to the inlet (5) of the valve (1), the non-return valve piston (8) being centrically and slidably along the longitudinal axis arranged to an end of the stopcock spindle (7) for sealing contact between the gasket (16) attached to the non-return valve piston (8) and the first seat (19) in a closed position of the non-return valve (3) and, in addition, for sealing contact between the gasket (16) attached to the non-return valve piston (8) and the second seat (24) in a closed position of the stopcock (2) in which the gasket (16) is more compressed against the seat (18) than in the closed position for only the non-return valve (3), the first seat (19) being arranged further from the non-return valve piston (8) along the longitudinal axis than the second seat (24) and the seat (19) being arranged radially within the seat (24) in relation to the centric longitudinal axis.

    • According to the invention there is provided a pressure reducing valve for reducing water pressure in homes, comprising a valve housing (1) with a high-pressure side (2, 17) and a low-pressure side (3, 18). The high-pressure side (2, 17) and the low-pressure side (3, 18) are separated by an opening (21) which can be closed against the force of a spring (5) actuated by the pressure in the valve, the spring (5) being actuated by the pressure acting on the high-pressure side (2, 17) of the valve.
      In an especially preferred embodiment of the invention, there is provided a combination valve comprising a pressure reducing valve and a stop tap.

A seat/shaft element (24; 24') comprises a fixed first seat (28; 28') for the end journal (46; 46') of the temperature sensor and a second seat (23; 23') from which the temperature sensor (21; 21') head (38; 38') is lifted when the hot water through the inlet (6; 6') from the water heater is at a cut-in temperature or higher, a part of the temperature sensor (21; 21') extending through an opening (39; 39') in the seat/shaft element (24; 24') around which opening (39; 39') the seat (23; 23') is provided. The seat/shaft element (24; 24') further comprises a shaft (27; 27') for sliding movement of the check valve's non return valve piston (30; 30'), the opening (39; 39') and a plurality of openings (48; 48') in proximity of the shaft providing fluid communication between the check valve and the mixing valve when the temperature sensor (21; 21') head (38; 38') is lifted from the seat (23; 23'), so that cold water is mixed with the hot water from the inlet (6; 6').
