摘要： The invention relates to a method for producing liquid metal, in particular liquid pig iron (9) or liquid steel intermediates from metalliferous elements, in particular from partially or totally reduced sponge iron (3) in a melt-down gasifier (1). Carbon-containing material, consisting at least partially of coal fines (16) and coal dust (13), is fed with oxygen or an oxygen-containing gas to a bed (4) formed of said carbon-containing material. The metalliferous elements are melted down, forming a reduction gas, optionally after preliminary final reduction. After drying, the coal fines (16) and coal dust (13) that are to be used are mixed in the warm state with bitumen (20) and then briquetted in the cold state. The briquettes (25) thus produced are introduced to the melt-down gasifier (1) in the cold state and subjected to shock heating (1).

摘要： A process is disclosed for treating the scrubbing water from the gas scrubbing process in an iron ore reduction plant. The scrubbing water is brought into direct contact with the gas in two gas scrubbers (1 to 4) arranged in two successive scrubbing stages at the gas-side, is withdrawn from the gas scrubbers and is supplied again to the gas scrubbers after the solids it contains are separated, and after it is treated and cooled. The scrubbing water is separately withdrawn from the two scrubbing stages and only the scrubbing water from the first scrubbing stage is largely freed from solids in a thickener (6), then led into a warm water container (8). The scrubbing water from the second scrubbing stage is directly led into a return water container (10) in which it releases carbon dioxide-rich flash gas led into the scrubbing water in the warm water container to enrich it with carbon dioxide. The scrubbing water from the warm water container is cooled in a heat exchanger (19), then fed back to the gas scrubbers of the two scrubbing stages together with the scrubbing water from the return water container (10). Moreover, part of the carbon dioxide-rich scrubbed gas or part of the carbon dioxide-rich water contained in the return water container may also be led into the warm water container to enrich the scrubbing water in the warm water container with carbon dioxide.

The force of application of the steel band is provided by a chain (11) which is arranged in the application region of the casting wheel, behind the steel band when seen from the casting wheel. This chain is subjected to a corresponding tensile force. For this, one (10) of the deflection rollers (8, 9, 10) for the chain is movably supported and subjected to a force which exerts a tensile force in the chain.
