摘要： A gunner protection system for positioning armored panels around a hatch opening and a mounted weapon or equipment system. The armored panels are arranged to create an armored envelope surrounding the vehicle hatch and defining an opening through which the weapon or equipment system can be operated. The armored panels can be individually raised to define a portion of the armored envelope or lowered to change the geometry of the armored envelope or opening according to the particular weapon or equipment system. Similarly, all of the armored panels can be lowered to collapse the armorer envelope to allow for efficient transport of the vehicle with the gunner protection system attached to the vehicle.

摘要： An improved transparent armor piercing protection system that acts as a vision window in an armor system. The transparent armor piercing protection system comprises ballistic plastic prisms with mirrored external surfaces disposed between armor plates so that the reflection of the image occurs entirely within the prism. 摘要： An armored land vehicle adapted to protect occupants from forces of explosions detonated beneath the vehicle including a penetration resistant bottom plate, a floor plate located substantially above and spaced from the bottom plate, energy absorbing members interposed between the bottom plate and the floor plate and seats on a seat plate supported by acceleration attenuating suspension supports. The personnel protective floor system for an armored vehicle includes crushable members supporting a floor plate on members secured to a bottom plate of the vehicle. These support members are plastically deformable in a predetermined and predicable manner under the forces imposed by a land mine exploding under the vehicle. Since much of the energy of the shock load imposed by the explosion is dissipated by the plastic deformation of the support members, the possibility of injury to personnel inside the vehicle is reduced, particularly injury to the lower extremities.

摘要： The chain gun simulator provides a high-fidelity simulation of the electrical control system signals for any weapon platform using a variety of chain gun types. The simulator device is stand-alone, requiring no external equipment, and replicates the electrical states, levels, and timing of the real guns such that the weapon platform's fire control interface can function normally without the need for a real gun and live ammunition. In addition, the simulator provides user control for selecting gun type and mode, and provides visual indication of modes, feed selection, and simulated weapon bolt position. There may also be an audible indication every time the simulator has advanced through the normal shutdown portion of the gun cycle.
