      The actuating device comprises control means (26,29,50,61) which are designed to regulate the volumetric output of the pump while the convertible top assembly is being actuated.

    • An aircraft engine is attached to the fuselage by a mounting structure (20) that has a vibration absorbing system which includes first and second sensors (61,62), to produce signals indicating vibration along two orthogonal axes. A third sensor, such as an accelerometer (64), is coupled to the mounting structure for sensing vibration of the engine. A tachometer circuit (67), connected to the third sensor, produces first and second speed signals that indicate the speeds of two rotating spools (N1,N2) in the engine. Four vibration absorbers (26-29) are attached to the engine mounting structure and controllers (60) are provided to dynamically tune the resonant frequency of each vibration absorber in response to a unique combination of one of the two vibration signals and one of the two speed signals. Thus the vibration absorbers reduce the engine spool vibrations that are transmitted through the mounting structure along the two orthogonal axes. The resonant frequency of each absorber is altered to track variation of the vibrations due to changes in engine speed.

    • Hydraulic operating device for a plough which can be turned and whose width can be adjusted, comprising a width-adjustment cylinder for adjusting the operating width of the plough, a turning cylinder for turning the plough between a first and a second turned position, and a hydraulic turning circuit for turning the plough. The device furthermore comprises a hydraulic sequencing circuit, which is designed such that, when pressurized hydraulic fluid is fed to the pressure port thereof, the plough moves to its narrowest position, so that, when a narrow position of the plough which is suitable for turning the plough is reached, the fluid flows to the pressure port of the turning circuit and, from there, to the turning cylinder, so that the plough moves from its one turned position to its other turned position, and so that, when the position of the turning cylinder which is associated with the desired turned position of the plough is reached, the fluid flows to the other connection port of the width-adjustment cylinder, so that the plough moves to its widest position.
