摘要： Disclosed is a decolorizable electrophotographic toner, including: a binder resin; and a colorant which contains at least a color developable compound and a color developing agent and is covered with an outer shell so as to have a capsule structure, wherein the number ratio of particles having an equivalent circle diameter of 0.6 µm or more and 2.5 µm or less of the toner when measured using a flow particle image analyzer after the toner is dispersed in an aqueous medium at a ratio of 0.08% by weight and the resulting dispersion is subjected to a stirring treatment in which stirring is performed at 5000 rpm for 30 minutes using a homogenizer (T-25 digital ULTRA-TURRAX (manufactured by IKA Japan K.K., provided with a shaft generator S25N-10G)) is 30% by number or less.

摘要： [Problems] An object of the present invention is to provide: thermochromic color-memory composition which effectively expresses a property of being capable of interchangeably memorizing and retaining colors and is thus applicable to various fields; and thermochromic memory microcapsule pigment encapsulating the same. [Means for Solution] Provided are thermochromic color-memory composition and thermochromic color-memory microcapsule pigment encapsulating the same, the thermochromic color-memory composition comprising: (a) a component composed of an electron-donating color-developing organic compound; (b) a component composed of an electron-accepting compound; and (c) a reaction medium which comprises an ester compound represented by the following Formula (1) and controls color reaction between the components (a) and (b): (wherein, R represents an alkyl group having 4 to 22 carbon atoms, a cycloalkylalkyl group having 5 to 12 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group having 4 to 8 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 4 to 22 carbon atoms; X represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a halogen atom; and n represents 0 or 1).

摘要： A thermochromic writing instrument containing a thermochromic ink (83) comprises a barrel (2) and a writing body (8) accommodated in the barrel (2). A pen tip (81) capable of ejecting the thermochromic ink (83) is provided at a front end of the writing body (8), and a friction portion (4), having a low abrasion property, capable of thermally changing color of the handwriting of the thermochromic ink (83) by the frictional heat generated when the handwriting is rubbed with the friction portion (4) is provided on the outer surface of the barrel (2). The writing body (8) is accommodated in the barrel (2) so as to be capable of moving in a longitudinal direction, and the thermochromic writing instrument further comprises an operation portion (5) provided on the outer surface of the barrel (2) so as to project radially outward from a side wall of the barrel (2). The pen tip (81) of the writing body (8) is adapted to project from / retract into a front-end hole (31) of the barrel (2) by operating the operation portion (5). The thermochromic writing instrument further comprises a side slide type projection/retraction mechanism which shifts the pen tip (81) from the pen-tip-retracted state to the pen-tip-projected state by a forward press operation of the operation portion (5). The friction portion (4) is provided at the front end of the barrel (2), whereby the friction portion (4) and the operation portion (5) are disposed independently of each other on the outer surface of the barrel (2).
