摘要： This invention relates to a gas blowing nozzle for blowing a gas to a molten metal in a furnace, including a plurality of narrow metal pipes for gas introduction, a surge tank storing a gas before blowing, and a refractory protecting the narrow metal pipes and the surge tank, the gas blowing nozzle including: a first nozzle section including a plurality of first narrow metal pipes having open furnace-side tips exposed to an inside of the furnace and being in the state of capable of blowing a gas to the molten metal in the furnace, a first surge tank communicated with the first narrow metal pipes, and a first refractory protecting the first narrow metal pipes and the first surge tank; and a second nozzle section including a plurality of second narrow metal pipes, a second surge tank communicated with the second narrow metal pipes, and a second refractory protecting the second narrow metal pipes and the second surge tank, in which furnace-side tips of the second narrow metal pipes are embedded in the second refractory such that the furnace-side tips of the second narrow metal pipes are located in a given depth and the furnace-side tips are occluded, in which blowing of a gas from the first nozzle section is continuously conducted in the state of applying pressure of the gas to the second nozzle section, and when erosion of the second refractory reaches the furnace-side tips of the second narrow metal pipes embedded in the second refractory, occluded furnace-side tips of the second narrow metal pipes are opened, and blowing of a gas from the second narrow metal pipes is started.

摘要： The hot repair mix according to the present invention comprises bisphenol as an auxiliary fluidizing agent in an amount of 1 to 20 weight parts and a material to form carbon bond in hot working process in an amount of 5 to 40 weight parts to 100 weight parts of a refractory material. It has satisfactory properties such as spreading property, hardenability, adhesive property, property of the finished portion in hot working process, and this leads to improvement of durability of the baking material. Moreover, there is no change over time such as solidification, sedimentation separation, etc. in summer season, and it can be easily transported and stored. Because of easy handling and good workability of this material, baking operation can be accomplished within short time, and it is very useful as a hot repair mix for repairing various types of refinery furnaces, molten metal containers, etc. in hot working process.

This packing material may be used together with an inorganic paint or ceramic fiber sheet, and when so used, the metal foil is to be applied to the outermost surface thereof. In addition, a metal foil having recessed and raised portions thereof may be used.

摘要： A process for producing silica brick by firing silica stone mainly comprising silica and containing 0.2 to 5 wt % of solidified molten soda lime silicate added thereto, whereby silica brick with a lowered content of residual quartz can be produced readily and efficiently even by using a silica stone which difficultly causes the transformation of quartz. The first invention is directed to attaining a good flowability of the refractory material and inhibiting the sedimentation and segregation of the aggregate, while the second invention is directed to attaining a good flowability of the refractory material, stabilizing the adhesiveness, and preventing the warpage of the hardening product thereof.
