    • The invention relates to milling production and can be used for hot and cold rolling mills of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and for rolling non-metallic materials. The aim of the invention is to simplify the design structure of a rolling mill, increase the speed and accuracy for clearance setting between rollers and ensure a fine adjustment of the force occurring during the rolling. The inventive rolling mill comprises a base made of a non-magnetic material, working and pressure rollers, a roller drive and an electromagnetic system. The rollers are arranged in such a way that they are displaceable on a vertical plane. Said electromagnetic system is embodied in the form of at least one pair of E solenoids and coils encompassing the inner poles of said solenoids. The working and pressure rollers are arranged between the poles of the E-solenoids. Said E-solenoids are disposed in a parallel position with respect to a rolling plane. The poles of the E-solenoids encompass the rollers bellow the centreplanes thereof, which are parallel in relation to the rolling plane from the side thereof. The inner poles encompass the working rollers, the pressure rollers being encompassed by external poles. The pressure device of the rolling mill comprises a hydraulic pressure unit consisting of movable and fixed parts which are provided with the electromagnetic systems interacting with each other.
