    • There is provided a component mounting machine (1) having a component supply section (3) that has a feeder device (31) for feeding a carrier tape (9) on which a cavity sections (93) is formed and sequentially supplying the components (P) to a supply position (34), and a component transfer device (4) that has a suction nozzle (46) for suctioning the component from the cavity section at the supply position and mounting the component on the board (K), a mounting head (44), and a head driving mechanism (49), the component mounting machine including: a component fewness detecting section (camera device 7) which detects that the remaining number of components held by the carrier tape decreases to a predetermined small number, and an invalid suction avoidance section (control device 6) which avoids an invalid suction operation of the suction nozzle based on a detection result of the component fewness detecting section, when the remaining number of components held by the carrier tape becomes zero. According to the invention, production efficiency of a board can be improved by an invalid suction operation being not performed on a cavity section which does not hold the component.

    • An inspection device 80 for inspecting an inspection target object based on light with which the inspection target object is irradiated includes vertical lighting 104 which irradiates the inspection target object with light, lateral lighting 102 which irradiates the inspection target object with light, and an imaging device 96 which images the inspection target object based on light which is reflected by the inspection target object when the inspection target object is irradiated from at least one of the vertical lighting and the lateral lighting, in which the imaging device performs at least two of full irradiation imaging which is imaging of the inspection target object based on light which is reflected by the inspection target object when the inspection target object is irradiated from both the vertical lighting and the lateral lighting, vertical irradiation imaging which is imaging of the inspection target object based on light which is reflected by the inspection target object when the inspection target object is irradiated from the vertical lighting without being irradiated from the lateral lighting, and lateral irradiation imaging which is imaging of the inspection target object based on light which is reflected by the inspection target object when the inspection target object is irradiated from the lateral lighting without being irradiated from the vertical lighting.
