摘要： The present invention proposes to extract 61850 security events from general IEC 61850 events and to merge them together with standard IT or other security events at station level or even higher system levels. Thus, the coexistence of two different protocols on the substation bus is allowed, and greater flexibility in the design of the SA system is achieved, in particular of SA systems with a mix of IEC 61850-compliant Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) and SA devices that do not adhere to IEC 61850 communication protocols.

摘要： Embodiments of a network topology for monitoring and controlling an array of solar panels include an intelligent node adapted to send and receive data and commands by at least two redundant means of communication. An intelligent node includes a solar panel, a node controller, a photovoltaic module, a bypass relay, a bypass bus, PLC and wireless communication interfaces for redundant means of communication, and sensor and actuator interfaces for monitoring and controlling the intelligent node. A PV module in the intelligent node may selectively be bypassed without interrupting network communications. Some embodiments include a plurality of intelligent nodes electrically connected serially into a chain of nodes and further connected to a gateway. Other embodiments include a plurality of chains of nodes connected to an inverter and a transformer, thereby defining an area. Additional embodiments further include a central server in communication with a plurality of areas.

摘要： The present invention is concerned with the identification of an improper cabling of control system devices connected to redundant communication networks of a distributed control system, in particular a substation automation system. As proposed in the standard IEC 62439 (Parallel Redundancy Protocol PRP), messages including a sender identification or source address as well as network or associated device port identification are transmitted from a sending device to a receiving device over the redundant networks. The receiving or destination device determines a connect status indicating whether or not a message has been received on a particular device port, as well as an error event indicating whether or not said device port is associated to the network identified in the received message. By doing so for at least two distinct sending devices, the invention produces, in addition to diagnosing an improper communication path between two devices, an indication as to the location and/or type of wrong cabling. Single error events are preferably supplanted by error rates calculated as a probability of receiving messages on a device port not associated to the network identified in the received message and compared to error thresholds for the purpose of identifying improper cabling.

Somit wird es möglich, dynamisch ein optimales Systemverhalten des Kommunikationsnetzes pro Ressource unter Wahrung aller Konsistenzbedingungen zu schaffen. 摘要： Disclosed is a network control system for home appliances that satisfies the characteristics of low-cost and high-efficiency with respect to currently used appliances adopting a low-performance microcomputer. The system is constructed to define a master/slave type communication structure with respect to the respective appliances; construct a network by connecting the appliances through the serial communication function; and enable the appliances to communicate with one another if a predetermined communication event is produced. According to the system, an optimized network for the home appliances can be implemented, and operation states of the respective appliances can be displayed through the co-operation among the appliances, thereby maximizing the user convenience.

摘要： There is provided media converter having an integrated local information transmission function and a fault alarm signal communication system for transmitting local information using a frequency outside the communication frequency bands for data signals. In the subscriber's media converter (10), based on input local information, a control section (19) sets a transmission frequency outside the communication frequency bands and outputs a signal instructing that a transmission be made. A media independent interface section (12) receives this signal and transmits the signal in the instructed frequency. In the station media converter (30), a media independent interface section (32) detects the frequency in which the local information is transmitted from the received signal. A control section (37) then generates local information using the detected frequency and outputs it to an SNMP unit (40).
