摘要： An electrical connector for detachably connecting an electrical lead to an implantable medical device includes a conductive housing and a plurality of spring contacts. The conductive housing extends from a proximal end to a distal end. The conductive housing has an interior surface forming a hollow cylinder. The plurality of spring contacts projects from the interior surface of the conductive housing and toward the proximal end. The plurality of spring contacts is at least partially contained within the conductive housing and configured to form an electrical connection to an electrical lead inserted within the conductive housing. The conductive housing and the plurality of spring contacts are integrally formed by an additive manufacturing process such that the electrical connector is a unitary structure.

摘要： Systems and methods for rate-adaptive pacing are disclosed. In one illustrative embodiment, a medical device for delivering electrical stimulation to a heart may include a housing configured to be implanted on the heart or within a chamber of the heart, one or more electrodes connected to the housing, and a controller disposed within the housing. The controller may be configured to sense a first signal and determine a respiration rate based at least in part on the sensed first signal. In at least some embodiments, the controller may be further configured to adjust a rate of delivery of electrical stimulation by the medical device based at least in part on the determined respiration rate.

A method of manufacturing a lead includes: forming a lead (104); and disposing a fibrous matrix coating (310) on all or a portion of the lead. The fibrous matrix coating comprises fibers with diameters ranging from about 10 nm to about 3000 nm.

In one embodiment an LCP comprises a housing, a plurality of electrodes for sensing electrical signals emanating from outside of the housing, an energy storage module disposed within the housing, and a control module disposed within the housing and operatively coupled to the plurality of electrodes. If the received electrical signals are indicative of a command for the LCP to deliver ATP therapy, the control module may additionally determine whether a triggered ATP therapy mode of the LCP is enabled. If the triggered ATP therapy mode is enabled, the control module may cause the LCP to deliver ATP therapy via the plurality of electrodes.

The anchor can be mounted on the lead such that the lead extends through the ring and the flange extends over an electrode of the lead. The lead system can further comprise a tether having a proximal portion and a distal portion. The proximal portion of the tether can attached to the lead while the distal portion of the tether can be attached to a needle. During an implantation procedure, the tether can be cut to remove the needle. The tether can then be attached to the flange. The lead, the anchor, and the tether can form a loop around a section of tissue to anchor the lead to the tissue.
