摘要： A method for accounting for individual ones of a plurality of items based upon random times and a random interval inventory system that operates in accordance with the method. The method includes a first step of transmitting information signals based upon random times from individual ones of a plurality of tags (5a1-5aX) to at least one master transceiver (3) and at least one remote transceiver (4a-4n). The information signals transmitted from each tag (5a1-5aX) correspond at least to the respective item to which the tag is affixed. For a case wherein the information signals are transmitted to at least one remote transceiver (4-4n), the signal is relayed to the master transceiver (3) which in turn supplies the signal to an associated confirmation device (2) to confirm that the item corresponding to the information signal is accounted for.

摘要： A communication satellite cellular coverage pointing correction using uplink beacon signal is provided. A ground-based beacon transmits a monopulse tracking signal or a Traveling Wave Coupler (TWC) tracking signal to a specialized tracking feed section located within each uplink and downlink antennae of a satellite. From the monopulse or TWC tracking signal, a pointing correction is determined for each reflector, for example, the angle off boresight and the angle between the present beam direction and the target direction. Each reflector is then gimbaled to re-point the reflector to the target area. In this way, both uplink and downlink antennae are provided with closed loop control over antenna pointing.
