摘要： A method for visualization of cardiovascular pulsation waves. A living body is illuminated with light penetrating through a skin of the body for interacting via absorption and/or scattering with a vascular system of the living body. Light reflected from the living body is collected in a focused frame into an image capturing device. A series of frames is captured by the image capturing unit. The frames of the series of frames are multiplied by a reference function synchronized with a periodical physiological process of the body. A correlation image is formed by summarizing respective pixels over the frames of the series of frames to the reference function. An output image representing dynamics of blood-pulsation waves in the living body is calculated from the correlation images as function of the phase of the periodical physiological process of the body. Also a system for application of the method.

摘要： A system and method for determining the amount of fluid to be removed from a dialysis patient is disclosed. The system utilizes sensors and a computer. The computer obtains the input parameters from the sensors, along with information added directly by the user, and performs a forward algorithm to determine a recommended change in patient fluid level. As fluid is removed, the effect of the removal on the parameters is detected by the sensors and re-transmitted back to the computer. The computer then performs a backward algorithm to refine the variables used in the forward algorithm and obtain more accurate results. The system and method provide for changing the amount of fluid removed from the patient based on the results of the algorithm and the data received from the sensors.

摘要： The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for validating inspiratory muscle activity of a patient. Left and right electrical activity signals respectively representing activity of a left muscle and of a right muscle synchronized with an inspiratory effort of the patient are acquired from non-invasive sensors. A cardiac activity signal is extracted from the left and right electrical activity signals. A synchrony, a symmetry or a proportionality of the left and right electrical activity signals from which the cardiac activity signal is extracted is verified. A mechanical ventilation system incorporating the system for validating inspiratory muscle activity of the patient is also disclosed.
