摘要： The invention relates to a method for treating waste from which substances or fibres constituting an environmental or health hazard may be released, in particular asbestos-containing waste. The waste is collected in sealed packagings in a container (1) which can be completely closed, said container being provided with a closable discharge opening (7). Through this discharge opening the waste collected in the container is discharged from the container at a dumping place under flexible sheeting (35) covering said dumping place, whilst simultaneously the packed waste inside the container as well as the sheeting are sprinkled with water. Furthermore the invention relates to a container for carrying out the above method, whereby at least one sprinkler pipe (12) is disposed in the completely closable container.

摘要： A packaging machine comprises a folding device 25 operable on a container 11 fitted around a mandrel 21 as stopped at a folding station V for folding an end portion 14 of the container to form the bottom thereof, and a pressure member 33 for pressing the container 11 against the mandrel 21 to hold the container 11 against an axial force exerted on the container 11 by the folding operation of the folding device 25. The pressure member 33 is biased by a spring 68 so that operation of the folding device 25 before starting the folding operation permits the pressure member 33 to press the container 11 against the mandrel 21. The container is released from the pressure member 33 against the spring 68 by operation of the folding device 25 subsequent to the folding operation thereof.

摘要： An apparatus for feeding cartons which comprises a guide for holding the carton in alignment with a mandrel outwardly thereof while rendering the carton free to move inward toward the mandrel or outward away therefrom, a slider reciprocatingly movable inward and outward along the guide, a carton pushing pawl pivotably mounted on the slider so as to be pivotally movable between a position of engagement with the carton as held by the guide and a nonengagement position, and a spring for urging the pawl to pivotally move toward the engagement position. With the outward movement of the slider, the pawl is pivotally moved from the engagement position to the nonengagement position against the spring by coming into contact with the inner end of the carton as held by the guide and further moves along the outer surface of the carton from its inner end to the outer end thereof.
