    • A yarn setting device and method for a draw-texturing machine for permitting a yarn-setting work not requiring a worker to stoop down when threading across a worker passage. A main machine frame (20) provided with a twisting machine (5) and a second heater (13) and a winder frame (22) provided with winders (10) are installed with a worker passage (21) therebetween, and a yarn (Y) from the second heater is guided along the worker passage for guiding to winders on the winder frame. A threading slit (13a) is formed in the second heater (13) and a sectionally-spiral guide pipe member (34) formed with a yarn removing slit (34a) is provided in the vicinity of the threading slit (13a). An expandable yarn guide pipe (41) and movable fourth yarn feed roller device (7) are provided along the worker passage (21). Yarn feed pipes (51) each equipped with a yarn feed nozzle (51a) is provided between the expansion end of the yarn guide pipe (41) and winders (10).

    • The invention relates to a texturing machine for crimping threads in several processing positions.     • The invention relates to a false twist texturing machine for texturing synthetic threads (4) at a treatment point comprising a false twisting area in which a heating device and a false twisting assembly are located. A second heating device and a counter-twist device are located in a post-treatment area. Here, any residual twist left in the thread by the false twisting assembly is removed. In order to be able to process the thread using the counter twist device if desired, a first possible solution provides for a twisting means and a guiding means which interacts with said twisting means. The guiding means guides the thread (4) and can be moved back and forth between a resting position for non-treatment of the thread (4) and an operating position for treatment of the thread (4). According to a second solution, the false twisting device has a moving twisting means (28, 29) which can be shifted back and forth between a resting position for non-treatment of or application of the thread (4) and an operating position for twisting the thread.
