    • A vehicle latch (1) comprising a ratchet (15) movable between at least one lock position, wherein the ratchet (15) is positioned to retain a striker (4), and a release position from the striker; a primary pawl (25) movable between a ratchet checking position and a ratchet release position; an auxiliary ratchet (26) operatively connected to the primary pawl (25) and movable between an enabling position, in which the primary pawl (25) is enabled to move to its ratchet checking position, and a disabling position, in which the auxiliary ratchet (26) maintains the primary pawl (25) in its ratchet release position; a secondary pawl (27) movable between an auxiliary ratchet holding position, in which the secondary pawl (27) is positioned to hold the auxiliary ratchet (26) in its enabling position, and an auxiliary ratchet release position; electrically-operated actuator means (6) for moving the secondary pawl (27) to the auxiliary ratchet release position and the auxiliary ratchet (26) to the enabling position; a back-up mechanism (7) which can be manually operated by the user for moving the secondary pawl (27) to the auxiliary ratchet release position or the auxiliary ratchet (26) to the enabling position; and an inhibiting lever (81) which, upon movement of the ratchet (15) towards the release position, is set to a disabling condition, in which the inhibiting lever (81) prevents interaction of the back-up mechanism (7) with the auxiliary ratchet (26).

    • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verschlusseinrichtung (1) für ein Verdeck eines Fahrzeugs,
      - mit einem Verschlusshaken (2), der vorne ein Greifende (3) und hinten ein Lagerende (4) aufweist,
      - mit einem Gehäuse (5), in dem das Lagerende (4) in einer Längsrichtung des Verschlusshakens (2) horizontal verstellbar gelagert ist,
      - mit einer Antriebseinrichtung (7) zum Verstellen das Verschlusshakens (2),
      - mit einer Sensorik (37) zum Erkennen einer Schließstellung und einer Offenstellung des Verschlusshakens (2).
      Eine kompakte Bauform sowie eine zuverlässige Zustandserkennung lässt sich dadurch erreichen,
      - dass die Antriebseinrichtung (7) einen Antriebslenker (10) und einen Kurbeltrieb (19) zum Antreiben des Antriebstenkers (10) aufweist,
      - dass der Kurbeltrieb (19) eine um eine vertikale Drehachse (21) drehverstellbare und zur Drehachse (21) exzentrisch angeordnete Kurbel (20) aufweist, die mit dem Antriebslenker (10) antriebsverbunden ist,
      - dass die Sensorik (37) mit dem Kurbeltrieb (19) zusammenwirkt.

    • A sensor (100) for monitoring external loads acting on a pin assembly includes a pin (24) having an axial interior bore defined therein and having a length defined from a first end to an opposed second end thereof. A core pin is mounted axially within the interior bore of the pin spaced radially inwardly from the interior bore for relative displacement with respect to the pin. A capacitor (108) is provided having an inner capacitor plate (118) mounted to the core pin (106), and an outer capacitor plate (114) mounted to the pin (24), such that relative displacement of the core and the pin (24) due to external loading on the pin (24) results in relative displacement of the inner and outer capacitor plates (118,114). The capacitor (108) is configured and adapted to be connected to an electrical circuit (110) to produce signals indicative of external loading on the pin based on relative displacement of the inner and outer capacitor plates (118,114).
