A load-balancer can receive a data packet for a connection/transaction to be routed through an application chain. The load-balancer can select, based on an application path table, a first end-to-end application path through the application chain. The application path table can identify two or more end-to-end application paths through the application chain along with a corresponding performance status for each end-to-end application path through the application chain. The performance status for an application path can indicate a performance level of the end-to-end application path determined based on performance of previous data packets for previous connections transmitted through the application chain according to the end-to-end application path. The load-balancer can then route the data packet through the application chain according to the first end-to-end application path and across multiple tiers.

摘要： A method and system for auto-configuration of a DSL modem in a wireline broadband network is disclosed. The method includes initiating, at a Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) card, a configuration request for configuring the DSL modem, wherein the SIM card is located within the DSL modem. After initiating, the configuration request is transferred from the SIM card to a configuration server over a mobile communication network. Thereafter, a configuration data corresponding to the configuration request is transferred to the SIM card over the mobile communication network from the configuration server, wherein the configuration data is determined based on at least one parameter associated with the configuration request. The SIM card receives the configuration data sent by the configuration server and automatically configures the DSL modem in response to receiving the configuration data from the configuration server.

= initiating a relocation of the first connection (CON1) of the connect client (CLI1) to a second connection (CON2) with the nearest cluster server (S4).
