摘要： The invention relates to a latch closure for walls, doors and shutters which are joined to frames, enclosures or the like by means of hinges. The frame, enclosure, door or wall surfaces which are joined to one another by hinges are essentially flush with one another when in a closed position. The inventive closure is comprised of a first closure housing (12) which can be fastened to the frame or the like and which has a rear-engaging element (14) for receiving the latch (16) of the latch closure (10) in a latching manner. The closure also comprises a second closure housing (18) which can be fastened to the door or the like. The latch (16) is arranged in said second closure housing such that it can be displaced against spring force by means of a handle (58). According to the invention, the second closure housing (18) forms a projection (40) that, when the door is closed, rests on a parallel front face (44) which is essentially parallel to the door plane (42) and which is formed by the first closure housing (12).

摘要： A deadlock mechanism 10 that comprises a bolt 40 rotatable between an extended (locked) position and a retracted (unlocked) position, a deadlock member 60 coupled to the bolt 40 and an actuator means 50, 70 moveable between a first position in which the deadlock member 60 can engage a casing element such as an upstanding post 34 to resist rotation of the bolt into the retracted position and a second position in which the actuator retracts the deadlock element allowing the bolt to rotate into the retracted position. Preferably the deadlock is slidingly housed within the bolt such that in a retracted position it is within the bolt and clear of the protruding post 34 and in a deadlocking position it extends from the housing and abuts post 34. Preferably the deadlock 60 is spring biased to the deadlocking position. Actuator 50, 70 may be driven by a cylinder lock to first retract the deadlock and subsequently retract the bolt.
