摘要： A method and system for processing an input fuel gas and steam to produce separate CO2 and output fuel gas streams. The method comprises the steps of using a decarbonizer segment for reacting at least a solid sorbent with the fuel gas and steam to remove carbon from the input fuel gas and to produce the output fuel gas stream in an exhaust gas from the decarbonizer; using a calciner segment for reacting the solid sorbent from the decarbonizer segment therein to release the CO2 into the CO2 gas stream; wherein CO2 partial pressures and temperatures in the decarbonizer and calciner segments respectively are controlled such that the temperature in the decarbonizer segment is higher than the temperature in the calciner.

摘要： An amount of water (9) is added to a glycol solution to be purified (6) to enable segregation (8) of the resulting mixture into a hydrocarbon phase and a glycol phase. The hydrocarbon phase (10) is separated from the glycol phase (11) and said glycol phase is desalted, e.g. by electrodialysis, to give a desalted and substantially hydrocarbon-free glycol solution which is then concentrated (23) by steam stripping. The method is useful for purifying waste glycol solutions resulting from oil or gas production effluent processing using glycols, and in particular from a gas hydrate inhibition treatment or natural gas dehydration.

摘要： The invention is directed to the purification of gas streams comprising methane and hydrophobic pollutants. The invention provides a method for purifying a gas stream comprising methane and one or more hydrophobic pollutants comprising the steps of contacting the gas stream with a lean liquid stream comprising micelles of a surfactant or a separate surfactant phase. The resulting rich liquid stream comprises at least part of the hydrophobic pollutants. By subsequently changing the temperature of the rich liquid stream, a system of a pollutants-poor phase and a pollutants-rich phase is obtained. These phases are optionally separated and from the aqueous stream the lean liquid stream comprising micelles and/or surfactant can be regenerated.

摘要： The present invention provides a method for performing regeneration of a decolorization capacity of waste clay that has been used for purification of fats and oils, and production of a thermally recyclable compound as a biofuel from oily ingredients in the waste clay at the same time in a convenient manner. That is, a method for producing purified fats and oils of the invention includes: a method for producing regenerated clay including the steps of mixing waste clay that has been used for purification of fats and oils, lower alcohol, and an acidic catalyst; and performing extraction of oily ingredients from the waste clay, and an esterification reaction between the fats and oils and/or a free fatty acid in the oily ingredients and the lower alcohol at the same time so as to regenerate a decolorization capacity of the waste clay; regenerated clay that is produced by the method for producing the regenerated clay; and a process of decolorizing the fats and oils using the regenerated clay.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method of separating and recovering NGLs from a natural gas feedstream. Specifically, the present method allows for the separation of ethane and heavier hydrocarbons and/or propane and heavier hydrocarbons from a raw natural gas feedstream to provide pipeline quality natural gas. One embodiment of this method provides for the use of a regenerable adsorbent media which is regenerated by a microwave heating system. 摘要： The method of reclaiming usable products from sludge is disclosed. A predetermined level of solvent within an extractor is heated, below boiling point, and dried sludge is immersed within the headed solvent. The solvent is a non-polar or polar aprotic solvents, such as ethyl acetate. The non-solid products, an oil/solvent mixture, within the sludge are separated and transferred to at least one evaporator with a concentration of between 5-25% oil in the solvent. The oil and solvent are is separated in one or more evaporators to remove approximately 80%-90%, and preferably 70%-95%, of the solvent. The solids are moved to a desolventizer for removal of the residual solvent and are then dried to a moisture content of below 25%, and preferably between 10 to 15%.

摘要： Apparatus and process for removing and / or converting contaminants in water-miscible organic solvent mixtures by surface interaction effects to forms less objectionable with lesser metabolic impacts for humans. The process both changes distillation entrapped contaminant compounds in-situ and effects removal of the compounds and their reaction products. In what follows, water-miscible-organic-solvent and water mixtures can be substituted for alcohols. The alcohol to be treated is placed in a ventilated vessel leaving room for head space. Contaminant free air or a specific organic-contaminant-free gas is injected into or otherwise placed in contact with the alcohol. A vacuum is pulled within the vessel, which draws the gas through the alcohol into the head space creating gas bubbles. Energy within a specified range of frequencies is imparted to the fluid causing cavitation and reaction. Wetting, solvent polarity characteristics and pressure are fixed or varied dynamically during processing, and inert or reactive gases are added. Reacted and unreacted contaminants enter the bubble cavities and are swept from solution.
