摘要： The present invention relates generally to exercise equipment and more specifically, to an isometric exercise apparatus and a storage rack therefor. The isometric exercise apparatus includes a frame which has a base and a sidewall joined to the base. The base has an exercise platform for supporting a user's body. Also provided is a restraint arm assembly connected to the frame. The arm restraint assembly includes a swing arm pivotally connected to the base, a restraint arm carried by the swing arm and positionable above the exercise platform to inhibit movement of a portion of the user's body so as to allow the user to perform isometric exercises. An indexing assembly is provided to fix the swing arm in a predetermined angular position selected from a set of discrete angular positions relative to the base. At least one limb restraint accessory is positionable at predetermined locations along the base for inhibiting movement of the user's limb so as to allow the user to perform isometric exercises. The apparatus can rapidly be adapted or configured to target a plurality of joint angles to work different muscle groups (or different muscles within the same muscle group) for an enhanced isometric workout.

摘要： A haptic device (100) configured to be used as man-machine interface for interactions in virtual and/or real places, tele-operation and rehabilitation assisted by robot comprises a mobile unit (1) configured to be interfaced with at least one user (3), a control unit (4) associated with the mobile unit (1 ) and a feeding unit (10). In particular, the mobile unit (1 ) comprises at least three wheels (13) rotationally spaced from each other; each wheels (13) comprises a rotation axis (13') and has a wheel motor unit (1 1) independent, such that each wheel motor unit (1 1) allows the rotation of each wheel (13) about the respective rotation axis (13') in a rotation plane orthogonal to the rotation axis (13'). In addition, each wheel (13) has sliding means (21 ) in a direction transversal to the rotation support plane, such that the mobile unit (1 ) can follow any trajectory. In particular, the sliding means comprises a plurality of rollers (21) arranged adjacent to each other on a same row. This way, each wheel (13) can carry out a "leeway motion" transversally to each wheel rotation plane by the resulting rolling applied by the respective motor units (1 1 ) to the other wheels (13). In particular, in case of three wheels (13) of the mobile unit (1), if a first wheel it has not momentarily a rolling movement, giving to the other two wheels (13) an identical rolling speed, is obtained a translating the first wheel orthogonally to each wheel rotation plane i.e. parallel to its own rotation axis (13'). 摘要： To provide a muscle strength training apparatus with a simple structure and low production cost and a muscle strength training method, wherein the apparatus and the method are capable of conducting muscle strength training that acts on both flexion and extension with load decreasing when the muscle is fatigued, and are safe without excessive force being applied on joints or muscles because no load is applied when movement is stopped. [Solution] This muscle strength training apparatus is provided with a first fitted part (1) that is fitted along the femur of the user and a second fitted part (2) that is fitted along the lower leg of the user. The first fitted part (1) is pivotally attached to the second fitted part (2) by means of bolts (30a, 31a) and nuts (30b, 31b) . The first fitted part (1) and the second fitted part (2) are connected via an oil damper (3). The oil damper (3) is disposed on the side opposite the side of lower leg flexion. Moreover, the center of the axis of the oil damper (3), the connection between the oil damper (3) and the first fitted part (1), and the connection between the oil damper (3) and the second fitted part (2) are disposed on the plane in which the lower leg bends.

A belt 100B has a longer first band-shaped member 110 and a shorter second band-shaped member 120 both of which have a band shape and are connected to a ring-shaped joint member 130 at their respective ends. In order to place the belt 100B on the target compressed site, the limb (right leg in this case) on which the belt 100B is expected to be placed is inserted into a loop of the first band-shaped member 110 formed by passing the end of the first band-shaped member 110 through an opening in the joint member 130, and the belt is moved up to the target compressed site. Then, the first band-shaped member 110 and the second band-shaped member 120 are pulled with both hands in the opposite directions. The belt 100B is placed on the target compressed site with the belt 100B being tensioned appropriately.
