摘要： Provided is a sealing mechanism inside an electrical member capable of securing waterproofness with a simple structure. The cable sealing mechanism of the electrical member 1 includes a gasket 70 having cable through-gasket-holes through which a cable 90 passes, and being made of an elastic body, sockets (first socket 30, second socket 40) of an electronic component (light emitting element 20) that operate by supplying power via the cable 90, a cover 10 that covers the electronic component, the sockets, and the gasket 70, and a bracket 80 that sandwiches the electronic component, the sockets, and the gasket 70 together with the cover 10. The gasket 70 is disposed between the sockets and the bracket 80. By attaching the cover 10 to the bracket 80, the gasket 70 comes into close contact with an inner wall of the cover 10, the cable through-gasket-holes come into close contact with the protective portion of the cable 90, and a space between the cover 10 and the gasket 70 is sealed.

The lamp side includes a lamp receptacle (200, 500). The lamp holder is received in the lamp receptacle. A channel (202, 204, 502, 504) is formed in the lamp receptacle. The channel includes opposed side walls (218, 518), and each side wall has an engagement surface (240, 526). The engagement surfaces engage side edges of the end panel to retain the lamp assembly in the lamp receptacle. A method for sealing the wiring cavity (266, 440) in a lamp socket includes fabricating the lamp socket with a passageway (258, 558) between the wiring cavity and the lamp side of the socket housing, positioning the socket housing on a non-adhering surface (300) with the lamp side facing upward such that the wiring cavity is blocked by the non- adhering surface, introducing a potting compound into the wiring cavity from the lamp side of the socket housing through the passageway, and removing the socket housing from the non-adhering surface after the potting compound has hardened.

摘要： An explosion-protected light fitting (1) has a light fitting housing (2) and a lighting means (4) which can be fixed to said housing and supplied with electricity by at least one mounting (3). The aim of the invention is to improve a light fitting in such a way as to provide a simple, economical means of disconnecting the lighting means or the entire light fitting from the supply and at the same time, provide shock protection from parts of the light fitting that are live, taking into account the requirements for explosion-protected light fittings. To this end, a counter-element (8) of a plug-in connection is located externally on the light fitting housing. A corresponding plug-in element (9) of the plug-in connection on the supply line (6) can be connected to said counter-element, especially in an explosion-protected manner. The cover (7) can be locked in its closed position (10) until the plug-in connection is released.
