摘要： A method of and apparatus for making and dispensing carbonated water with a double diaphragm continuous delivery pneumatic liquid pump (12) has a water pressure regulator (18) on a water inlet line (14) to the pump, a water fill line to a carbonator, a propellent exhaust line from the pump to the carbonator, a carbon dioxide line (28) to the carbonator, and a gas pressure regulator (24) for controlling the storage pressure in the carbonator and the exhaust back pressure in the pump propellent outlet, the exhaust back pressure is kept higher than the water pressure at the pump preventing diaphragm inversion; the method has the steps of dropping water pressure into the pump to below carbonation pressure, and maintaining the carbonation pressure on the pump diaphragm preventing inversion. A method of and apparatus for boosting water pressure using the aforesaid pump wherein the pump boosted water pressure minus a propellent exhaust back pressure plus a water supply pressure, wherein structure connected to the pump exhaust and the pump water outlet maintains a water inlet pressure less than the exhaust back pressure preventing diaphragm inversion in the pump.

摘要： A concentrate supply assembly for a post-mix beverage dispenser includes a plurality of containers 10-1,10-2,10-3 for concentrate with discharge openings through which concentrate may flow. A plurality of conduits CN-1, CN-2, CN-3 are coupled to the discharge openings and are in fluid communication with concentrate disposed within the containers.A multi-channel linear pump 10 is provided with a pump body or bodies, including bores 24, 25 disposed within the pump bodies, pistons 22, 23 operatively mounted within the bores for reciprocation and piston shafts 26,27 connected to the pistons. An A.C. synchronous motor 40 is connected to the piston shafts for imparting constant-speed reciprocal motion to the piston shafts and to the pistons disposed within the bores. Inlet ports 81A, 81B are in fluid communication with the conduits and bores for supplying concentrate thereto during a reciprocal motion of the pistons in a first direction. Outlet ports 82A, 82B are in fluid communication with the bores for discharging concentrate from the bores during a reciprocal motion of the pistons in a reverse direction. A ball joint 220 connection is provided between the piston shafts and the motor for enabling accurate positioning of the piston connected to the piston shaft within the bore.

摘要： A beverage dispensing system and distributing process with such a system has a flexible bag 1 containing the beverage which may have carbon dioxide dissolved therein. The beverage is drawn off through a pipe 3 (assisted by a pump 8) for dispensing through nozzle 5 having a tap 6. Carbon dioxide, nitrogen (or other inert gas) and/or air gases are introduced into the beverage through a passage 11 by way of a fixed orifice restrictor 12 and a non-return valve 13. The pressure of the gas which is introduced is adjustable at 14 and baffles 15 can provide turbulence in the beverage during dispensing to promote the dissolution of the introduced gas therein.
The facility to introduce the gas or gases permits the beverage in the bag 1 to have a low content of carbon dioxide so that the bag collapses under atmospheric pressure while the beverage as dispensed is additionally gasified for the formation of a froth or head.
