Erfindungsgemäß weist die Bodenplatte (14) bzw. die mindestens eine Abdeckplatte (20) an einer Seite eine Polsterschicht (16 bzw. 22) auf, wobei die gepolsterte Seite dem Gegenstand (12, 12', 12") zugewandt ist, wenn der Gegenstand in der Verpackung und die mindestens eine Abdeckplatte (20) in der geschlossenen Position ist, und dass die Polsterschicht (16 bzw. 22) so ausgebildet ist, dass der Gegenstand (12, 12', 12") in Bezug auf eine laterale Verschiebung rutschfest gehalten wird, wenn die mindestens eine Abdeckplatte (20) in der geschlossenen Position ist und zumindest ein Teilbereich des Gegenstands (12, 12', 12") zwischen der Abdeckplatte (20) und der Bodenplatte (14) angeordnet ist.
