摘要： This invention provides a bearing retainer for a roller bearing which is used in a guide-post of a die-set. The bearing retainer has a cylindrical retainer body. The retainer body has a plurality of supporting holes to support rollers. Tongue-like portions are formed at the edge portions of each supporting hole for preventing a roller from falling out of the supporting hole. Cavities are provided between adjacent supporting holes. Each cavity permits the edge portion including the tongue-like portion to deform elastically in the direction that the aperture of each supporting hole will be enlarged on the outer side surface of the retainer body.

The ball screw comprises a thread shaft (1), a nut member (2) and a tubular retainer (3) interposed between the thread shaft and the nut member so as to be freely, relatively rotatable in relation to them. The outer ends of peripheral walls defining the ball retaining holes face the inside of the thread groove of the nut member. At least the minimum spacing between the outer ends of the peripheral walls is smaller than the diameter of the balls, and the thread shaft (1) is longer than the nut member (2). With the above arrangement, the load sustainable by the nut member in an axial direction can be increased. In addition, the reciprocating linear movement of the nut member can be smoothly performed by the rotation of the thread shaft without formation of a ball return passage in cases where the distance of the linear movement of the nut member is short.
