摘要： A tyre (20) comprises a bead core (22) of ferromagnetic material, for example steel wire, around which one or more windings (30a, 30b, ..., 30n) of conducting wire are wound to form the secondary of an electricity generator of the induction type. The assembly of windings and bead core (22), together with the circuits using the electricity thus generated, is produced as a single unit to be incorporated, together with the bead filler (26), in a bead (28) of the tyre, and of one or more magnets fixed with respect to the hub of the wheel or integral with the chassis of a vehicle comprising a wheel (18) fitted with the tyre (20), which induce current in the windings. If the magnets are electromagnets (32) supplied with alternating current, the electricity generator operates both when the wheel (18) is rotating and when the wheel is stationary. On the other hand, if the magnets are permanent magnets (66) or electromagnets supplied with direct current, the electricity generator operates only if the wheel (18) is rotating.

摘要： Continuous process for producing semi-finished rubber products, in particular tread bands, comprising the preparation of a blend formed of a base polymer and various ingredients, added in measured amounts and at defined points along a path for mixing and advancing the said blend, by alternating phases mainly involving mixing, with a high level of absorption of mechanical work, with phases mainly involving advance of the blend, with a reduced level of absorption of work, while controlling the heat profile of the said blend along the entire said mixing and advance path by determining the local values of a number of physical parameters, which are taken as characterizing the heat profile of the blend, at least at defined points on the said path.
The process is carried out by means of a plant consisting of a twin-screw mixer (2) in which various components of the blend, including the polymer base, silica and silane, are introduced, of a cooling device (4) fed continuously by the twin-screw mixer (2), and of a single-screw extruder (5) fed continuously both by the said blend leaving the cooling device (4) and by the vulcanizing system.

摘要： It is disclosed a method of making pneumatic tyres for vehicle wheels in which during building of the tyre on a toroidal support (10) at least one step of partial vulcanisation is introduced, said step enabling the overall production time to be reduced by lowering the overall time of the final moulding and vulcanisation step, while maintaining the features of the bead and the carcass ply/plies linked thereto as stated in the design specifications. More particularly, by building at least one carcass structure on said toroidal support (10) and submitting the latter to a first vulcanisation step while exerting a pressure from the outside to the inside of the structure itself, an at least partly vulcanised carcass structure is obtained that is stable in its geometry and suitable for completing the tyre building. Subsequently, a second vulcanisation step accompanied by moulding of the tread band and the sidewalls allows a finished tyre in a more reduced overall period of time to be obtained.
